Affordable Video Card?

Is there an affordable (around $50) which will do good with NoLimits? Im updating my PC in a couple of week so I just wanted to know so I can play my NoLimits better.

I was thinking about a NVIDIA RIVA TNT.

Thanx for any help

Not under $50, but it's $79.99.  A Pny 32 MB PCI GeForce2 MX video card at 250MHz(I think it is 250) at Circuit City.  Works Great!

I just bought a GeForce 3 Video card at a Computer Show around my house for around $60.  I suggest looking at Computer Shows they have some really great prices there.

A GeForce *3* for $60?  Are you SURE it's not a GeForce 2?  GeForce 3-based cards still run around $200 and up (the price should drop to around $150, but I'd be REALLY suprised if it's down to $60, even at fairs.  If that's the case, and it really works, you got an INCREDIBLE deal.)

Yep im positive its a GeForce 3 Card and it works great, you wouldn't belive some of the prices at this show.  If I had $300 I could have bought a new computer.
-----------------
ok i was just at a show this weekend and the cheapest GeForce3 i found at the entire show (and believe me i spent about 3 hours looking), was $189.  And that one looked really crappy.  I couldn't even find a GeForce2 GTS for under $100.  Running prices were $200-$300 for the GeForce3, $120-$150 for the GeForce2 GTS, $70-$90 for the GeForce2 MX400 (64MB), and $40-$60 for the MX200 (32MB), so i'd love to know where you got yours.

And yes you can build an entire computer for LESS than $300 at a show.

Beer, My Baby, and Coasters. Is this a great country or what? ;)
ATI is bad!!!!  You should avoid ATI cards (Radeon, Rage, All in Wonder) like the plague!  Go for a GeForce 2 MX.  You can find them online for $50-$60.

Will "PNY Verto GeForce2-MX 200 Graphics Accelerator" work?
Yes, it's a GeForce 2 MX card as I mentioned above.

Ok, my computer doesn't have a PCI slot(it is pretty old). What would be a good ATI? I have Radeon but I am going to turn it back in because when there is track in the background, it gets choppy.
I'm sure you do have a PCI slot.  You probably meant you don't have an AGP slot.

DON'T BUY ATI!!!!!  Get a GeForce 2 or better.  You'll be MUCH happier with it.

Do the new computers have AGP or PCI?

-----------------
Coasters are like a fine wine, they get better with age.

New computers have both. I forget what PCI means, but pretty much anything can hook up to it, as long as it's a PCI card. That includes sound and video cards, NICs, modems, etc... AGP stands for advanced (or is it acellerated? or either? I'm not 100% sure on that one) graphics port. As the name implies, it only accepts AGP video cards.

Hi! I'm Hungry, whats your name?
Peripheral Component Interconnect

Accelerated Graphics Port

The newer MOBOS have a 4x AGP port. According to my computing magazines, in about 2-3 years. pehpas less, we will see a replacement for both.
