Advertising for Holiday World

It look like Holiday World is trying to reach out at a greater audience. I live in western kentucky and have noticed several signs around town about holiday world and the new attraction zoombabwe. I live about 3 hours from holiday world and love the atmosphere there, its good to know that they are trying to reach more people because i havent seen much advertising for holiday world. Has anyone else noticed this?
They'll send out brochures to anyone at a long distance if you just ask at the site. I live near Chicago, 6 hours away, and they sent me a couple.

While driving around Louisville we noticed a billboard for HW. Very tough I might say, since we were about to set foot inside SFKK after having an earth shattering time at SRM!

It's almost like it doesn't need to advertise much. It's gained a cult following with it's two great coasters.

I live in Indianapolis ans so far I have seen ads for Holiday World on a billboard, T.V., and the radio. I remember Paula saying they were going to advertise alot more and they definitely have.

Yeah, I live in Glasgow, Kentucky and there is one near my house that has the Legend on it.

Be sure to visit Holiday World. Best park in the world!

no matter what the park dose for advertising, The best advertising is Word of mouth and HW excells at that.

I bet I tell 50 people a week about this park and those that have gone, go back again and again.

Lesourdsville Lake, The great American amusement park opens the season June 6th Thurs-Sun every week. Park phone is (513)539-2193

I bet all that coverage on the Discovery Channel doesn't hurt either.

Our cafeteria at work here in St. Louis has a brochure rack for fliers. Sure enough, Holiday World is in there.

Generic, isn't it?

Regarding Charles' post about word of mouth, I think that's dead on. I had never heard of Holiday World before I started reading CB. After all the positive buzz about it here, I knew I had to go to SRM.

It's got to be hard to convince people to travel a long way to go to a park with only 2 coasters, and woodies at that. I commend them for a job well done.
