I love seeing Kennywood in the footage. Beautiful place to shoot a movie.

Nice Violent Femmes use, though again, they did record a few other songs than Blister in the Sun.

Kennywood never looked so bad, yet so fun.

Yeah, and the vast majority of those songs sucked. :) Although I've always liked "American Music."

Well, allow me to retort . . . Their first album is a solid masterpiece, with not one single bad track on it. If you don't get that, then you don't get the Femmes. :) Add It Off, Kiss Off, Gone Daddy Gone, To The Kill . . . all perfect gems. Ironically, Why Do Birds Sing (the album from which "American Music" comes from) is their weakest album with the original lineup, IMO.

Hey, I've seen them live, and remember that I used to work in radio. I'm intimately familiar with their work. They just never really did it for me. I suppose I can give them "Add It Up" as well, but that's where I'm stopping it.

That movie looks hilarious. I'm a big fan of comedies of this nature (Superbad, Step Brothers and all the newest Will/John C. movies, Pineapples Express, blah blah...) This looks like it'll be no exception. It's just a bonus that they used Kennywood. :)

The common thread is that all of that junk is either written, directed or produced by Judd Apatow. The guy definitely has a feel for what sells and can genuinely entertain. Most of it is potty mouth stuff, which is always fun.

Oh yeah, that's his name. Something was blocking it from my mind. It's probably this ridiculous upper respiratory cold!

I just got Step Brothers on Blu-Ray from Nextflix. I'll have to watch it and see if the special content is any better than on DVD.
