I thought they were looking to sell out and shut down for condo development. Then I saw this.

I should drive by there soon and see what is going on!

LOL, my first thought was Lake Winnie's Cannonball....then I remembered *that* had a different turnaround. It was just SOOOO John Allen, I figured I could find out what it was...
Sure enough, took about 3 minutes to track THIS down...

I am SUCH a geek....I'll go cry now... ;)
On the other hand, it's a John Allen I haven't ridden yet! LOL! :)

LOL! So it is! :)
I guess it might compare more closely with Yankee Cannonball then? *rollseyes*. The L-shaped out-n-back, painted white, I never had a chance....Hershey's Comet is the only (other!) Schmeck I can think of that ISN'T oval-ish... ;)

Dang it, man! You actually gave me hope there for a second that the park wouldnt be sold. That mouse there is absolutely sick. I would love to ride it again the next time I am in L.A. :( Oh well.
That is a nice looking woodie, though :)

That mouse is one of the nicest I've ever seen, it's obvious a lot of TLC went into restoring that thing, making it all the more curious that the owners want to sell.
gator, I'm disappointed in you ;)

Well, I'm sure they could squeeze it in somewhere at that park up the street. There is a huge concrete wasteland in the Boardwalk area where it just might fit. ;)
