Actual work allegedly performed on Deja Vu (SFGAm)

A report from one of our friends at SFGAmworld.com indicates that a real live human being was spotted near the top of the first lift of Deja Vu on July 4th, doing some sort of work.

Yes, this qualifies as progress in my book. In my trips to the park this year and in all other TRs this is the first I've read of any type of maintenance on this beast during park hours.

Maybe, just maybe, this is a step in the right direction...

yeah i was there on the 4th and i saw a man wearing a blue shirt apparently doing somethin near the top of the first lift but it didn't seem like he was doin anythin important
It looked like he was doing something with the cable. Why else would he be up there? For a view? ;-)

Smell ya later!

Well recently, I would say the guy was enjoying the view. Laughing while he was realizing that this ride is worthless and it makes a good ranger station.

When I went last week I noticed it while waiting for V2. The 4th has come and gone, and the train is still nowhere to be seen. I really hope they get their act together and do somthing about it.

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

They've been working on it. You just dont see it. Not everything happens at the ride itself.

"Train Secure"

Whats wrong with the ride? Do the trains have a mechanical problem, or is the mechanism that pulls that trains up not working right?

Ben G gave me the best chuckle I've had this week.

I have pretty much given up on DelayJa Vu being open anytime this season. I don't quite know why when the other two are operating (SFOG & SFMM).

I am certainly not saying that it might posiibly open up this season. I have just mentally prepared myself for the fact that it will more than likely not open this operating season. If for some reason it does, I would be pleased.

It's like a simple principal I like to practice - "under promise and over deliver."

DelayJa Vu - ask it no questions & it'll tell you no lies!

Well There was a man up there it odesn't mean jack didly. If you have noticed they are using the mid lift platform to store som kinda brown boxes. The train is still no where and the stairs to the station are still laying on their side next to the fence. I really wouldn't get my hopes up on Getting any rides before late september or not at all. Oh well.

While waiting at SFGam for Superman to finally open Monday afternoon, I talked to a friendly neighborhood ride op who is part of DejaVu's crew. He claimed they're getting a whole new train, and once that's in it should be up soon.

Touchè, teacher, touchè.

I suppose you could believe it since he was a Deja Vu ride op. But I dont know if I can really belive what the employees say anymore.

Thats good news!
