Acrophobia opened today May 12. This ride is AWESOME!!! It is so much higher than many of you may think it is. The seats are comfortable, and the ride is fun (and somewhat scary). It wasn't spinning today, due to unfinished security testing while rotating or something like that. Once you take off, it's all over. You climb up and up and up until you reach the very top, then tilt forward nearly completely facing the ground, and now you're just dangling there waiting to drop and you don't know when it's going to drop. Then, all of a sudden....CLANK....down you go. This thing has incredible speed yet while on it it feels like you are just falling forever. A big thumbs up to Acrophobia. I encourage everyone to go and try it out at SFoG.
