Actually, I can't think of one ACE event that was
free over the last 10 years. They all have registration fees as far as I know. The ACE Conferences (2-3 days usually) are about $50-$65 and the ACE Convention (about 5.5 days) has been running about $125-140 I believe. The local ACE days have a great range in costs, but I do think there may have been at least one local ACE day that was free.

The only ACE day I can think of that was free is the one at Lake Winnie this past summer..
The only beef I have with the ACE publications is they always get to me pretty late. But, they are excellent reading nontheless.

I've been in for 10 or 12 years, and feel the $ I spend on ACE and the ECC is well worth it for the mags. (Especially before the net!)
