Ace preserv con #2 Rye's

Associated parks:
None

After a trip to Target and some traffic around New York, we made it to Rye's Playland at about 7. We were hungry so I went for pizza and the rest of the family went for seafood. I walked from the seafood place over looking the lake, ordered my food and walked back. I was able to eat all my pizza before they even had their food ready. Very slow almost like sfwoa food service times.

With receiving ride tickets and not all day ride passes, I hit the rides we didn't have ert for the next day. Rode the S&S Double Shot, mad air on that baby very good ride. The 2 darkrides there, I liked the one down by the House of Mirrors better. Rode the log flume and then the Power Surge. I was expecting good things from this creation by Zamperla, but I was disappointed. The ride was boring and it hurt too. We then waited for the Kiddie Coaster to open to attendees only. It was great to go on this little coaster. After a great night ride on the Dragon, we went back to our hotel in CT.

Coming back the next morning we hit the Dragon a few more times and the Derby Racer. The Dragon was a nice little coaster that fits this park perfectly. I was waiting for the Hurricane to open here. It looked like the exact same ride with different cars so I thought it would be a good ride. Wow! Was I wrong. It was a terrible little coaster that hurt and who ever made those trains is a moron. After a nice catered lunch provided by the park, the whole family bought these screen printed shirts down by the stage for 10 bucks. I was looking for more souveniers but couldn't really find any. Very nice little park. Next is our own sidetrip to Quassy.
