ACE Midwest Event ?s (sdc/cc)

Hi, I was wondering what was going on with the ACE midwest event that is going to be held at SDC in two weeks. If you know anything, please post. They are very late with the flyer about the event.

If the flyer isn't on the website, it's a safe guess that the event planners haven't submitted it to the webmaster. Your best bet is to contact Jeff Mast, the regional rep for MO.

I am sending out the flyer today but still don't have a set schedule (still waiting on the park). If you send me your address to jeffrey_mast@hotmail.com and I will send you one.

Jeff Mast

Hey Jeff are you going to have a link to the flyer on one of your guys' sites?

Jimbo

I do have on the region web site now at http://www.ace18.org/calendar.asp . Just the note that the dead line is very soon.

Jeff Mast

So is the event going to include a tour of CC or not?
Since the schedule is not set until tomorrow I couldn't put it in the flyer. Yes we have been told that we are having that and the discussed date is Sunday. Also they are talking about putting on a presentation of the new park. We are also having Prime Rib dinner.

Jeff just gone done talking with me and here is the schedule as of now:

"Tour the new park at 8:30 to 9:00, Lunch 10:00 to 11:00, ERT on Wildfire and Fire in the Hole 11:00 to 12:00. "

I'm not sure how this will work with registration being 10:30 - 11:00 at the main park, but I'm sure we will get filled in on that soon enough.

The main thing of this post the confirmation of the tour of Celebration City!!!!

8:30-9:00 a.m. on Sat?
And I was wondering... for a reduced price, could I just drive down and tour the park with you guys? I live in Springfield.

Ok talked to Jeff again -- latest update!

There will be an "early bird" registration at 8:00 - 8:30 for those going to the new park. There will still be the one at SDC at 10:30 - 11:00. This is on Saturday!!!

To answer your question Bill, unfortunately this is an all or none event. So there is no "reduced" price to just go see Celebration City. The price is also including dinner which sounds like prime rib (YUM!) as well as a presentation about the new park. I think $35 is not too bad to ask for all that you are getting with the package.

I have uploaded an updated schedule at http://www.ace18.org/calendar.asp.

Jeff

I hope the massive amounts of snow the area received will have no effect on the events. It's just not Christmas until I ride Wildfire in near freezing temperatures :)

Jeff, my registration was mailed today.. See you all there!

Weather is supposed to be around 40 degrees for the highs next week, so, maybe it will hold and just barely be warm enough for Wildfire to run.

Jim

Do you know when the presentation would be of Celebration City?
