ACE Coaster Con Schedule?

I know (and love) many of the ACErs that will be attending....if I had been to the Dells before, I'd proably do Con just to meet up with great friends there...

But, considering the *capacity* of the rides at the Dells, and the wait times I've had at other Cons, I'll just go during the Pre-Con or Post-Con "non-events"...;)

gator, wondering if SFGAm is still as thrilled as they were when they GOT the new GM...;)

I agree with the others, the Dells part will be a zoo, the coasters there just do not have that high of a PPH to make it worthwhile, I'll go some weekday with my nephew and get my rides in.

I might be convinced inot doing the GAm part, but that is totally dependant on whether or not certain friends will come in for the con (and the price of the con). But, either way, it's hard to get excited about a con at your homepark...

I am a member of ACE and since they are planning there own events, it is there fault that flyers arent put out in a timely manner or at the "very least" update members why this isnt happening!!!!
Its is hard to plan for anything when one isnt kept up to date with information regarding cost and what you will get with that for your money. It may be simple to plan when one plans for themselves but it is much different for a family of 5.
I have been to a couple of ACE Events with my family and while we did have a good time and enjoyed the parks/rides i havent found the people to be over friendly and people hang in cliques and if one isnt par of the "in crowd"you are ignored IMHO. And i heard the same comments from other people who atteneded with families.

Very good. Thanks for that tentative breakdown, Jeffery. :)

My plans usually change a trillion times between conception and execution. This is the first time we've planned so far out, but this is also the first time we're attempting 2 weeks on the road.

And yes, I was more worried about sharing the Dells with a few hundred enthusiasts...and it looks like I just might be.

Oddly enough, the plan for a long while now has been to do the 'big family vacation' in Orlando next year (2006) and I just happened to notice our probable dates coincide with Coaster Con down there next year. Maybe I should join after all. I seem to be everywhere ACE goes. :)

We just want to be with the honorable Lord Gonchar :)
I joined Ace last year, I only attended one regional event. The rest of the things we did were park sponsered events, that I could have found out about elsewhere. I agree it is very difficult to do ace things with small children.
I was going to do the Japan trip, but since my daughter is only 8 that left us out. I'm thinking 2006 in Disney will work for us.
