Accurate Heights?

I am wondering if the game's calculations of how tall a coaster is (based on the Altitude chart in the coaster window) are accurate. This is a great game, but the one thing I have always noticed is that  the height of rides (like maxed-out tower rides and hypercoasters) seems blown way out of proportion.

That said, however, I think I have thought of a way to check. I could use an equation from math class. I forget what the equation is, but it lets you calculate how far up something will go if you launch it vertically from the ground. I could use that to calculate how far up a Space Shot would go at a particular launch speed, then see what height mark it hits at that launch speed.

RCT hypercoaster crazy!

I've been thinking, but am too lazy to test this. As we all know, you can have metric measurments in the game, as well as english measurments. I think that when you change it, the only thing that changes is the label, not the accuall numbers. I'm not sure if that makes it have better physics, but I'm sure it puts the heights and speed ratio closer than it is with the 214 foot 90 mph drop.

I want my Hay Bayler back! Forget new rides! HAY BAYLER! While they are at it, why not bring back Tidal Wave too?
There is a patch thing out there. I think it's on GameTropics.

One speed Doesn't Fit All!
What is a patch...(I usually ask the dumbest RCT questions.....bear with me...I just bought it)
A patch is an addition to RCT that you can download to fix a problem with the game.
Here ya go http://rct.ogresnet.com/downloads/utilities.shtml
go to the bottom of the page and look for  Roller Coaster Height Chart.

Beer, coasters and ooters. Is this a great country or what?
