Earlier tonight, a tractor at the Medina fair in Ohio exploded. So far, there are 35 injured, 4 dead. The reason for all the injuries is the long oil spill the tractor left, preceding the explosion. The fair is expected to open tomorrow. This just comes to show how safe your neighborhood fairs and carnivals really are. If anybody hears anything else about the accident, please let me know.

This should be posted in the news section. I heard about this on the news.
I don't like fairs because I don't think that the rides are safe because they travel from one city to another. I like amusement park rides because they stay in one place.

This wasn't a fair ride. This was some antique collector. The general public wasn't allowed to ride on it. I think it was funny that the cops were going to nab this guy for driving it on city streets in Medina. Anyway, these steam engines have a nasty habit of building up too much steam and blowing up.

This isn't really amusement park news. It did happen only a few miles from where I live though, and I got several calls from people asking if I was there. I didn't think I was the county fair type, actually.

This is horrible. The scary thing is, I used to live in Medina, and my parents always took me to the fair to see the choo-choos.(That's what I called them when I was little.)I feel horrible for the families of those who died.

Not to sound mean, but the fair was lucky to have it happen when it did, had the fair been open to the public, there could have been 70 more dead.
This this got alot of people in a 100 foot radius, mostly woth burns and shrapnal. Imagine had the fair been open.... major catastrophie....
Things like this are sad....my heart goes out to the families
