About Thunderhawk's paintjob

Some said that SFA's SLC was the same color. it is not. the supports are dark orange, and the track is orangish yellow. GL's Thunderhawk supports are bright yellow, and the track is a bright orange. It's definately different. Just wanted to clear that up.

This really wasn't worth a new topic. ;)

Hmmm, SFA's Mind Eraser:

or

Geauga Lake's Thunderhawk:

Yup, quite different, but interesting that two different parks with two different owners would decide to paint what is essentially the same ride essentially the same colors, even if the colors are reversed and even if the colors at SFA are a bit darker.

The important part is that these two coasters are FINALLY getting rid of that teal and red color scheme on these older SLCs. I'd like to hope SFI will be painting more of their Mind Eraser coasters in the near future. *** Edited 5/3/2005 9:27:37 PM UTC by Coaster Lover***

Nice! I actually think they look much better than their old color schemes. I like bright colors... :)

Usually I like CP's 'color decisions' over Six Flags but Mind Eraser's new look looks MUCH MUCH better than Thunderhawk's new look.

Yeah Mind Eraser looks great. I rode this coaster on Sunday. When I approached the ride, the color scheme just blew me away. Three words - FRESH, BRIGHT, EXCITING. Mind Eraser is still rough in certain areas, but overall good ride.

We didn't get new trains, but they matched it with the color scheme to make them look new. *** Edited 5/4/2005 12:30:10 AM UTC by SF Critic***

I don't know ALL the Facts!!!!!!
I do like Mind Eraser's paint job, but on the opposite side think that Thunderhawk's painjob is a much better choice, I do like how it stands out in the pakr, most of the coasters *except X-Flight* at geauga lake are kinda dull looking. It is weird about those color scemes. All is good though! ;) I know I'll sleep better, lol *** Edited 5/4/2005 3:27:25 AM UTC by DC2Beltz3***
Mind Eraser now reminds me (ironic?) of Face/Off at PKI.

Hello, Hello! (hola!) I rode a ride named Vertigo!-with apologies to U2

I saw the coaster (Face/Off) I can see why it would remind you. I do agree...how ironic!
