About Deja Vu.

Hey, I called six flags over georgia and believe it or not they said that Deja Vu did have a serious accident. I asked what happened and the said that the front row derailed. I asked why and they said the wheels and the chaise thing were not properly built. Then I called six flags great america and asked why Deja Vu is opening very late and they said that they are STILL TESTING! I asked if the trains were on the track and the said yes. Is this true?

Has anyone heard about the night testing of Deja Vu at SFMM besides me? Anyone know any peeps who have seen any of them testing (deja vu's - all)?

Deja Vu - Think you've experienced it before...think again!

X - Xperience the Xtreme - It breaks all the rules!
No the trains aren't on track or testing at SFGAm
From what I saw today, it does not look like they have even finished the station at SFGAm, let alone started testing it.

I was there today , and still the trains are not even on. If anyone has noticed, there is one piece of the track still missing, I think thats for the trains or something. I wonder how the lines are going to be. I stood in the rain for 3 hours for V2 today, I just love that ride. And they made it longer. (line)
I'm still looking forward to Deja Vu, whether there was a mishap or not. Recent reports seem to talk about a much more realistic testing mishap. This front car derailment you speak of, SFGAMfreak seems more likely. Single car derailments have happened before, even with people on them! (Kings Island) No more mangled destroyed train, an overnight replacement train, gruesome broken parts everywhere, a "coverup", or any more nonsense! Whether the accident was real or made up, huge or minor, I'd still like to see a picture if someone has one.

What happened Peabody? Tell all! I know the Corkscrew at CP's first car detatched from the rest at least once (not derailed though). I also heard from a manager when I worked at SFOT that the old Big Bend "flew" off the tracks once. Email me at j7g3@hotmail if you don't wanna talk bout it here. Thanks :>

Ow! My lap bar IS down all the way.
I remember reading a report about it in an old Amusement Park Journal.

My memory is not totally solid on the incident, but around the mid 80s, the back car of the King Cobra derailed, but was still attached to the rest of the train, dangling. I think the derailment brought the train to a stop on the lower portion of a turn, possibly in the helix. Again, if I remember correctly, there were no serious injuries, everyone just had to be evacuated, and it was a little tricky for those on the dangling car. It was a bad accident, but thankfully the restraints kept everyone safe, the the ride still operates to this day safely. The cause? I can't remember, but I think it was kind of "freak" accident.

There is no night testing going on at SFMM. The park would never put on trains at night, test the ride, then remove the trains before the park opens...
