A Raging Bull question from 09/21/03???

For those who were at the park and maybe those who werent but may have knowledge.
When i was at the park on 9/21/03 under the first lift hill for RB was a device that looked like a platfrom that was still connected to the roller coaster. It seemed to be some type of platform pulled up by a pulley and next to it was another container that seemed like it had welding type of tools. Was this used for track work prior to openiong and they didnt have enough time to remove it before the park opened??? I have never seen this type of equipment under this coaster during park hours so any of you with more knowledge than me(not that i have any on this) what do you think this was/or what was it used for. Just curious.
Jeff was not at Grea...oh. Nevermind :)

I would agree with coasterdude that it was a maintence platfrom. It was weird because i have never seen that in the park during operating hours.
Out of curiosity what time did you ride it that you saw the maintenance platform? I was there that day too.

If it was a maintenance platform, maybe the crew was working on something before the park opened and decided to leave it there to continue work after the park closed.

Arena football has arrived in the Windy City. Go "Chicago Rush"

I was on the ride from around 1030am till about 1230pm when i rode for the last time and the platform was under the first lift hill the whole time.
I rode it around 10:30 as well, you could see it to the right of the exit. I didn't think it was any big deal, I figured it was used for morning inspections or to repair something and they didn't have time to put it back before the park opened.
