A question with hopefully an answer about SFGAm

Is there anything else major happening at SFGAm, besides Superman?

I was at the park on Nov. 2nd, and I was walking by the Orlean's Pizza Place and to my right looked to be a marker with a blue ribbon around. Is this from Fright Fest? Has it always been there? Or did I mistake from something else?

nobody knows for sure but with the removal of East River Crawler and Power Dive and the general "clearing out" of that area you mentioned, it's not unreasonable to think some at least minor improvements are going on there.

however since nobody can get into the park now it'll be very difficult to figure out exactly whats going on until an announcement is made... which shouldnt be that far off.... seems most, if not all other SF parks have made their announcments

East River Crawler will be back next season.

Just curios(sp) but how do you know ERC will be back?

If Chitown says that ERC will be back I would put book on it.

It easily could be put back. It is in the employee parking lot after all.

Refurbishment. They did this with Hometown Fun Machine a few years back.

Yea I remember few years back when this happend and many thought it was being removed, just this season the same thing happend to orbit. I wih it would be the same for Power Dive but I don't tink that will ever happen :-(

There proably just Fixing ERC they also did that with Orbit last year.

I've been saying east river crawler was staying months ago. It never, ever was leaving. People on this stie just ASSumed it was because it was dismantled. It had some problems this year that weren't easy to fix so it's going to be completely redone. The Lobster will be back in black!(and purple :P)

East River Crawler WILL be back next season- it just had a hydraulic leak in the center and needed some tender loving care. I heard this from JT, he's a maintenance guy that was at V2 :)
