all relocated to one park. think of it just a park with all the coasters that were once with us... crystal beach cyclone, lincoln park comet any others in mind? there most be a ton. it would be the a rollercoaster enthusiests dream come true.

Is the ride still standing? I haven't read anything as to it's demolition or "saving" efforts.

yes, the lincoln park comet is still standing and most likely will be saved. I never got to ride it because i was only 2 years old when it closed.
it doesnt even look all the bad, the paint is almost completely gone but nothing has fallen apart on it. has anybody ridden it? if so can you describe what is was like. the first drop looks VERY steep.
i heard a disturbing rumor that it will be knocked down for a stop and shop plaza! how horribly AWFUL is that!
