If you had any part of an amusement park to theme, what would you theme it to?
I'd have to say I would theme part of an amusement park to The Beatles! There would be some rides named after their songs ("Twist and Shout", "Revolution", and "Rain" just to name a few). There would also be, of course, their music playing everywhere in that part of the area. I'd also have some restaurants with the servers looking like the Beatles. Possibly even some statues of them!

Sounds awesome to me. Their catalogue is so huge, you'd never run out of ideas.

How dare you vanquish the Steel Phantom without his consent? Fear the Phantom's Revenge.
Finally, somewhere to vent my idea! I would theme my area to be Star Wars locations. I'm sure the only reason theme parks haven't done it is copyrights and other legal stuff. But it would be awesome! There are tons of coaster opportunities. If you are familiar with Star Wars like I am, here are some ideas...the Pod Races, the Endor Forest chase, the Death Star Trench, the second Death Star's interior, etc. Let me know what you think..

Veni, vidi, coasteri!
(2000 - PKD, Dollywood, SFA, BGW)
Yeah. I definetly think that Star Wars is one franchise that hasn't really been tapped into.

You build it, I'll ride it
Probably because nobody had been able to convince George Lucas that they could do it justice. Plus whatever the royalties would be.Definitely wouldn't be cheap.
Umm, wait a minute people. Disney has already gone the Star Wars route. Their 'Star Tours' ride is based on Endor. And there was a whole big ta do this summer about a possible 'Pod Racers' ride. Am i the only one who remembers that?
Anyway, my vote for a themed park would be an old karate flick called Super Ninjas. There were like five different bands based on the natural elements, earth, wind, fire, water, and sun. Each of these would be a basis for a land. I actually had a whole plan for the park written out this summer on rollercoaster.com. Ive since forgotten the finer details.
Ahh... I forgot about Star Tours. What a great ride that is!

I always thought a mythological theme would be cool...lots of concepts and names for rides there. Plus, the whole park would look like you were in Greece (similar in style to BGW or IOA).
