A New Coaster Manufacturer

This is quite wierd if you ask me. It's called KumBak Coasters.

Here's the site. http://www.kumbakcoasters.nl/

This is what really only shows up on the site.

"Part of the former management team of Vekoma Manufacturing BV and Vekoma International BV have set up a new company that includes a number of employees from the former Vekoma companies."

So they must be a branch of Vekoma. Or they are sick of horrible headbanging! :O no surprise. :p

And here is their first coaster.
http://www.rcdb.com/id3291.htm

The track looks very B&M-ish or Premier-ish. I wonder if it delivers the same smoothness.

What 'chall think?

Yeah, a few months ago they did new trains for a couple corkscrew type coasters. Probably the ugliest trains ever made.

They also refurbished BPB's Space Invader back in 2004, and designed new cars for it.

The earliest mention of Kumbak was by Speedy (no longer an active ID) in this thread on December 19.....2002!

Pictures of the Kumbak train can be found here in a tread created by Absmilliard on August 5, 2005

The search tool is your friend.
