Still a month away from its official opening, Walt Disney Co.’s latest theme park resort in Shanghai is already a popular destination attracting thousands of Chinese. Locals flocked to the area to stroll around its artificial lake and snap pictures with a fountain sculpture of Mickey Mouse on a steamboat. Disney also began trial operations for the park -- its sixth worldwide and first in mainland China -- over the weekend.

Check out this version of Peter Pan's Flight from Shanghai. I'm not familiar with other non-U.S. versions, but this one looks awesome, nice and long with great detail.

Btw, another website reports this "look-see" was pretty much a disaster, with thousands of people showing up to trample flowers, ruining the landscape, trashing the place with their carry-in lunches, and allowing the kids to run amok, climbing on everything. One parent allowed their kid to poop in a flower bed. Ugh.

While there are some teepees in there, it otherwise has 100% less racism than the Magic Kingdom version. The only thing remotely similar is flying over London.
