A Lot Of Love For Universal On The Apprentice This And Last Week

Good Evening,

It was cool to see some areas of Universal that I will assume are not available to the general public on the last two weeks of Celebrity Apprentice.

I know that not everyone here is a fan of reality television, but this is the second time they filmed an episode there. It was interesting to see (although briefly) some of the key staff from the park.

Interesting episodes though.

Any thoughts?

NBCUniversal has done a good job of cross-promoting their stuff in the last year or two. They've also landed Today and The Tonight Show in the parks. ABC pretty routinely does the same thing with their shows and Disney.

Orlando. I loved the shots of Incredible Hulk and HRRR.

Funny, we really never saw CBS take advantage of the Paramount parks back when they had the chance...

But then who really wants to watch NCIS:Carowinds. Who sets a cop show at an amusement park?*

Viacom made a lot of odd choices (to my mind) while they owned the parks. They didn't use the parks as effectively as Disney and Comcast use their parks; and their idea of synergy seemed... odd. Seeing Romulans wandering around Rivertown at Kings Island just seemed an odd choice.
