A few PKI questions?

Im going to PKI this coming Tuesday or Wed. What day should be less crowded??? Do they offer a twicket or some type of ticket to go the next day like SF parks do??

What should my plan of attack be to get on the best coasters/TR??? Im a memeber of ACE so i will get the walk back but what order should i try to hit the rides?? What rides have the longest lines if not hit first??? I havent been to the park in several years so your help would be apprecitated, and thanks in advance.

Hey man don't get to uptight about it. Either day the park won't be crowded at all. But if ya wanna do the whole I gotta ride... Oh no I might not get to ride thing. then you might want to start at action zone and make your way around in a backwords circle. But If you do that then you will probobly ride everything by noon or 1 in the afternoon.

My perspective is this. Take it slow and enjoy the park. Enjoy the day. People who go around For COASTERS COASTERS COASTERS!!! at PKI usually get dissapointed when they shouldn't be.

HAVE FUN

My plan of attack is to hopefully hit TR,Beast/Son of Beast/FOF a couple of times, also Drop Zone then take a break and hit the wave pool!! I do plan on enjoying the great park. But ive found that usually in the beginning you cant hit a couple of rides with little to no waits before the crowds come in.

By the way do you know if they are selling any anniversy items for their 30th Anniv., like t-shirts/caps etc??? Son of Beast thanks for the help.

If you get there before the gates then you can hit any ride with little or no wait at all but... if you plan on hitting face off (I would) then you need to get there first because that will be your longest wait all day. On a Tuesday or wedsnday your longest wait will probobly be 15 minnuites to a half hour and that will be on either SOB Drop Zone TR or FOF. But dont expect long lines. Rides like the racers and vortex and beast will be walk ons.

They are selling aniversery merchandice as well. But you will have to find the shop because all shops have somthing diffrent!

I hope you make a trip report!

Again thanks for the info Son of Beast. Im not that concerned about Face off is a have been on it before but want to ride their wooden classics and fof with the OSTR'S How is the kiddie coaster "Reptar" my kids are looking forweard to riding it as they loved the Beastie years ago.
If you were only gong one of those two days then go wednesday. On tuesday Gold pass holders get double rides on Face/Off, SOB, DZ, The beast and I think a few other things. This doesn't effect the lines too much but it will a little because certain parts of the train will be cut off for gold pass only. It will also bring in more season pass holders than normal but it shouldn't be that bad
If you can go Wednesday, I would go than, the lines will be about 5 minutes shorter. You get halfpriced admission with an ACE membership, so therefore it's a pretty good deal. Just hit whatever you want, I can hit what I want usually on a Wednesday and I am only there for 8 hours. Just go don't have a plan and enjoy your day, I would take the walkback on The Beast than wait for Tomb Raider, part of the fun is waiting, but don't wait if the queue goes out more than one turnstyle, if it does come back later.

Thanks for the info!!
Anybody know if they offer a twicket?? Or deal on a second day ticket??
If you enter the park after 4 p.m. then you get in the park the next day for free but check to make sure first. Reptar is awesome for the little ones. Even for the whole family!

What is a 'backwords circle'?

Just want to point this out: It would be a better bet to go on Wednesday because Tuesdays are double ride tuesdays for goldpass holders.

My best strategy I have found so far is to start with Face/Off and just work your way around the park, THEN go back and ride the rides you either skipped or want to reride. Thats the best way I have discovered to enjoy the park.
