A few disneyland questions???

crazy horse's avatar

We are going to disneyland on march 2-6th, and would like to know if the fireworks are everynight?

I looked on the website and could not find any info on the fireworks. Is this because they have them everynight, or are the only on certain nights?

Also could not find any info on the parades as well.

Any help with this would be great.

Thanks!!!

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Go to mouseplanet.com All you need to know. Check out my last trip reports also on DL and DCA.

Thanks for the link, there was a lot of good info on there. However, I was not able to find an answer about the fireworks or parades.

There you go, a link to the great calendar page of the official Disneyland website.

I looked at that page, and there is no mention of fireworks. Everytime I have been to disney/ disneyworld, ther has been fireworks and parades.

I was just wondering if they are everynight, but they don't have any info at all on them weather they are having them or not. And the parades say that "None scheduled at this time". Is that because the don't have any, or is that because the don't book them a month in advance?

Disneyland does not have fireworks every night, I do know that. However either Fantasmic, or the fireworks should at least occur on the weekends, maybe they havent set the schedule yet. You might want to try calling them.

2022 Trips: WDW, Sea World San Diego & Orlando, CP, KI, BGW, Bay Beach, Canobie Lake, Universal Orlando

I would say the fireworks are not happening those nights. If you look to future dates like Sunday March 8th:

http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/calendar/daily/dai...e=20090308

You will see entries for the fireworks listed at 9:25 p.m.

When I was 'out there' last month, folks were taking up positions for Fantasmic 4-5 hours early. Quite the enthusiasm. However, there were no grumblings when the show was cancelled due to high winds.

Fireworks are on a mini-hiatus. From mouseplanet:

"Remember...Dreams Come True" Fireworks will be presented the weekend of Jan. 17-19 and Feb. 13-16, and will then return in March.

Fantasmic will be presented most nights in January and February.

This is a bummer.

It won't be the same going to disney and not being able to see fireworks or a parade.

By the way, has anyone on here stayed at the econolodge maingate near the park? I just booked it, and was wondering how it was.

Just thinking Californians are probably more understanding than the average American when it comes to fire danger...they've got history.
