A coaster question

Ensign Smith said:
Yeah, I have to drag my sorry ass out that way sometime.

But my question, Mike Gallagher, is how can you be the OTHER Mike? I thought I was the OTHER Mike. How many Mikes do we have around here anyway? ;)

I stake my claim to the "other" because I was responding to YOUR choices, and you were CoasterBuzzin' before I was. There may be others besides us..perhaps now they'll make their presence known?

Hey, I think we have a quorum -- let's seize control!

For wooden coasters, its Balder in Sweden (only plug n play I haven't been on!) and the new GCI coaster in China.

For steel, Pyrenees in Japan.

In case you're wondering, I've already been on a few of the more popular choices! Eagle Fortress, T Express, etc.

Showoff ;)

I am only counting that are currently in operation or Texas Giant 2.0 would take my top spot.

Honestly there is no steel coaster that beckons me the way Eagles Fortress does. I've ridden enough B&M's and Intamins to last a lifetime. It would be cool to ride Expedition GeForce, but I don't crave it one bit. The only other steel I really care about would be any Anton credit I don't have and the Ice Mountain Bobsleds. And to get to Columbia and ride Zambezi Zinger one more time.

I'll throw a wrinkle in, though, and say that the non-roller coaster ride I'd most like to experience..although I'm not sure it's still in operation..is the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ride at Alton Towers.

It is alive and well. I was just there last month. Really cool dark ride within a dark ride. :)

Here's another wrench...
Now that I finally made it to Invy's AwesomeLand (aka Blackpool Pleasure Beach), the park I most want to get to is Europa in Germany.

Steel - Edmonton's Mindbender
Wood - Coaster @ Vancouver's Playland

Both of these have been on my wish list for many years.

Jerry - Magnum Fanatic

For wood, Ravine Flyer II or Tremors. Maybe Prowler or EK.
For steel, I actually don't have too many itches that need scratching. Maverick, Nemesis, and E:GF but I've pretty much ridden everything that's been calling my name.

Maybe I'm getting old or maybe it's because I have a kid that is too short to ride, but I really don't have that many coaster cravings these days.

For me it comes down to what do I want to ride, and how much would I be willing to give to ride it? There isn't really any MUST RIDE coasters in Australia, there are a couple here and there in the Orient, none that I'm interested in in Russia. Maybe 3 in Africa, and I can't think of any in South America.

Europe has the most interest as far as coasters go for me, but even then, there might be 10 must rides.

I'm just not big on riding every coaster out there. I don't care about my track record, I care about riding fun rides that I enjoy.

...but you still enjoy gravy, right? Otherwise, you're out of the club.

I clicked on this thread to see the newest posts...
but I forgot the (coaster) question.

Did someone say "gravy"? I'm off to the International House of Gravy, or as we call it "IHOG".

Okay, that one elicited an LOL out of me. Nice.

Oh, I also want to try out a giant version of the S&S Freefly...as soon as they built one, that is.

You forgot Broca (Zambezi Zinger) in Columbia, Bill. Otherwise, very predictable responses from you. ;)
