Disney's California Adventure opened "A Bug's Land" yesterday to anxious fans and tourists. The new area creates the look and feel from the Pixar movie by making the plants and objects appear huge, as if you were a "bug." Four new rides and a water area are themed to the movie.

I watched Toy Story 2 on Sunday evening and they announced the grand opening of A Bug's Land at the end of the show. To celebrate, they are showing A Bug's Life next weekend. What little they showed looked fantastic. I think this one is going to be a real winner with kids and adults alike, even if the rides are "wimpy".

Perhaps now they can get rid of that Jumping Jellyfish ride near the pier and put in the Shoot-the-Chutes seen in many of the models [wishful thinking, I know].

Mamoosh- A Shoot-the-Chutes would be just the thing that DCA could use. That would be a ride that the whole family could ride and enjoy. It also fits right in with the whole theming of the area.

I agree, something on the lines of what Kennywood has.. Imagine it all lit up at night with the thousands of lights reflecting off of the lagoon. I'm surprised they cut that ride which isn't that expensive and decided to keep something terrible like Superstar Limo or Jumpin' Jellyfish, that fits no boardwalk theme whatsoever!
