FYI-I'm not trying to start any flame wars.

Wouldn't it be funny if CF bought a small SF park like Darien Lake and made good enough to compete with CP?  I think that since CF doesn't have as many parks as SF, they can invest in more rides and making the park better.  I think that could also be vice versa with the same park companies.  I think SF got so caught up in getting lots of parks that they forgot to consentrate on smaller parks.  Oh well.

Why do people keep complaining about smaller parks.  There is a reason why they don't get as many coasters or rides and thats because of location why spend alot of money on the smaller parks when they don't make as much money as the big ones do.

Well a few months ago I called the Six Flags office in New York trying to get some official info on the new SFNE coaster.  This guy calls me back, assistant VP or something, a little SFNE talk, and then I say, "BTW, could you please comment on the planned merger of Cedar Fair and Six Flags, and is the new name really gonna be "Cedar Flags"?

To my surprise, he doesn't deny it, says it would violate securities regulations for him to comment and that I should watch trade publications and the media for more info!  At the end of the conversation I didn't know who was kidding who. That was funny!

Wyandot lake to get a 900 foot coaster........
