SFDLnet has updated its site with a slew of photos taken at Darien Lake as it prepares for the winter season. Part one of the photos are now up on the site. I think you will find this special feature quite interesting.

Its so nice that parks will allow some websites to display this type of maintenience that no one ever gets to see.
You get a better feel of the ride structures and really what goes on behind the scenes.

An SLC without the upstop wheels. That's creepy. :)

You guys should probe deeper into the website and check out the ride models page. Some dude did a sand sculpture recreation of Predator! Talk about hard work (and probably a crick in the neck afterwards too). ;)
I rode "X" and never went upside down.

Now... is it just me, or wasn't that part of the theme park actually blocked off from the general public??
Somehow, I have this funny feeling that the person taking the photos had no given permission to access the area freely and get such shots.
...but then again, I could be wrong (but I know I'm not :) )

Jeff, an SLC WITH wheels is frightening!
Not quite Cola, not quite Root Beer, not quite Asphalt!
