Through the end of November, Mitch Hawker is taking ballots for the definitive wooden coaster poll. Started in 1994, his unique ranking system eliminates the "popular ride bias" seen in many other polls.
There is somewhere to view the completed ballots and early returns of the current poll. I send the URL in an acknowledgement e-mail to all who have voted (within a day or two of receiving their ballot).
I do it this way to lessen the chance of early returns affecting the voting and it also works as an encouragement for the curious to cast their ballots ASAP.
