It was my 1st event at HW and I had a blast. Sporting one of my many Raptor shirts, made the trip with 2 Po!nters, Jeff and Lauren, and ended up hooking up with several other of my Po!nter/GTTP family members once at HW. Raven and Legend, what can I say? How about: "Dear Mr Kinzel can we please have one of these?" :) ANY of my gazillion rides (including the 4x triple) was a blast, the most memorable had to be the last 10 or so with Tony on Legend. "Don't look back!" By the end of ERT I truly felt like I just ridden a bull. No lie! HW was extremely clean, the staff was awesome, Legend and Raven are now my top woodies. Other parks could learn ALOT by HWs atmosphere, their ERT was truly the pinnacle of ERT! I too have the bruises to prove what fun I had!! ;)
It was great seeing fellow GOCC'ers and especially great meeting many new ones. I heard "excuse me but are you Raptor Jo?" so many times during the day and LOVED it! :) Thanks again to my Po!nter family for making this Fall Freak Out another memorial coaster event for me you all rock and I am honored to call you friends, love you guys!, thanks to Holiday World for such a great time, and for 2 great coasters! It was my 1st HW trip but certainly NOT my last! Stark Raven Mad anyone? ;)
CU @ CP!
I have an excellent GOCC group shot if anyone wants a copy of it just email me and I'll send it to ya!!!

It's all about getting around the barrels or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and still looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

Luv Raptor, are you the lady that has the Raptor tatoo? If so I remember you. I was on the Raven and you told me that my nametag was about to fall off. My name is Alex if you remember. You rock.

Cornball Express, Legend, Raven... Indiana is Sweet.

OK OK Brad, I guess I DO like Legend just a *little* bit better. And how could I forget about you and the fudge? You mention that it took an hour to eat the entire block, but you didn't say that about half of that hour was spent trying to chew and swallow one huge bite - looks like you enjoyed some "EFT" as well...

-----------------
Legend: So long, so few chances to breathe.

Mhrmbrmoumrisharam....(still chewing) :) I swear the fudge went from a 4x4" block to a 4x4' block by the time I started chipping away at it!

Wow...the MooreOn just had a MooreOn moment here. Something just clicked! I wasn't at SRM in June, so I wouldn't know this, but wasn't Bethany that dancing/trippy ride op who was entertaining people at SRM? If so, then I feel honored to have ridden Raven with a celebrity!

I guess I'm just not a classy guy MoeRon, but I do enjoy life so I guess it is alright.

Cornball Express puts ya' to the test, can't digest if it's the best, but better than most the rest!

Now Boys!don't get all huffy, it's all in good fun. Alex I would edit your sig on that post though, you never know Bethany might be reading, and then you could loose your chance to pop the question! hehe!

I was at the Fall Freak Out. It rocked! 7 straight rides on the Raven, not much can beat that.

Except for....maybe when Kevin S. and I got 30 straight rides on Legend.:-D I still have a bruise.

And for Donny, That blonde girl with the brown sweater wasn't Bethany, that was Heather (she doesn't work there, she was there with the GOCC event)

Hey Sean....question that comes up for me: Is Jeff H. an honorary ACE member....if not, he DESERVES it! I mean, would any non-enthusiast spend so much time trying to shave seconds off the time of two of the greatest coasters out there?

I don't think I'd consider Jeff an Non-Enthusiast.

Not in the least. I hung out with him a lot during the day and we chatted about all the different rides in the area that he loves to go ride. Also, he was at Coastermania last year, I rode a few times with him there, too.

Jeff is a great guy, and he loves to chat about construction and maintenence in wood coasters. I'm really glad he's taking care of those rides, but we need him at some other parks :)

Donny- your right I might lose my chance forever, then I'll be heartbroken.

Raven-Phile- I think Bethany was in the blue sweatshirt.. maybe, I wasn't really paying attention to the color. I guess I was leading you astray there Donny, sorry.
