9/14 SFGAm A Rainy Sunday Morning

Associated parks:
None

I slept over at my sister's dorm room at Lake Forest College. We got in the park, after a stop at Mcdonalds, at 10:05. We headed right to Superman and did the third row in a twenty minute wait (our longest of the day).

Then we went to Batman and got out of the rain for a little bit. But we couldn't hide from the rain for that long because Batman was a walk on.

Next we went over to V2 for another walk on. Got a good ride in the rain.

We did the Eagle Red next and in walk on fashion. When we were on this ride the rain was hitting our face so hard it felt like bee stings.

Then we went to Raging Bull and got on the sixth row in about five minutes. Once again this ride doesn't dissapoint.

We now got over to Viper. It was another walk on. It was so wet that the wood track on Viper looked black. When we got off it was 11:50 and we were cold and tired so we left.

Also, Deja Vu opened right when we decided left. At this point we were pretty beat so we stayed with our plan and left.

I hope you have a season pass. . . .

As Mitch always said, "If you had a freind who was a tightrope walker and he fell down just walking down the street, that would be completely unacceptable."

I do have a season pass. But if I didn't I wouldn't of felt cheated because of the oh so very short lines.

I too went on Sunday. A bit rainy, but absolutely no lines! One thing that was interesting was that, even in the rain, Deja Vu ran. Ive heard that this ride cannot operate in the rain, but I rode it in a light drizzle, about 5 minutes after it heavily poured. Yes, they did close it while it was pouring, but it still ran consistantly after that. I'm very impressed with the way it has been running these days.
With this sunday being the last of the regular season i hope the lines are as short as they were for you who braved the rain!!!
They should be Bob O. The weather is calling for a chance of rain Saturday and only in the 60's for a high on Sunday. I am willing to bet the place will be sort of empty.

Chi-town, i hope you are right as i plan on going on sunday!!!

It's so hard to believe that yet another season has almost ended. Wow, so fast...

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

Yes it has been way too fast!!! And with no vacation's planned for Fla or CA this year it will be a long roller coaster drought!!!
I'm going on saturday. It sounds like the park has been desserted since school started around here. How do you think the crowds will be on saturday? I'm bringing the camera to cheak out the Fright Fest Decorating Going on. I'll post a report Sunday Mouring.
