Sorry to tell you, but its not like parents can follow kids around 24 hours a day.

I have 2 kids and I know where they are 24 hours a day. I'm not going to let my 8yr old out without knowing where he is or who he is with, plain and simple. If that makes me a bad parent knowing where my kids are at all the time so be it, but rest assure it wont be my kids while I'm around.

Ok, i really don't feel like arguing about this, but if the kids are near the park, it maybe would have taken them 20 minutes to just go out and steal some stuff while they were out playing or whatever.  I don't think the issue here is where their parents were, but maybe how their parents are bringing them up.  blah, whatever.  just a few kids doing some dumb stuff.  happens all the time.  no big deal.

No big deal if your 8yr old is commiting a felony, give me a break, as for where are the parents you just answered it by saying how they bring them up(it show they dont care where he goes or what he does). How many 8yr old kids do you know that commit felonys.

The same thing happened at Busch Gardens Williamsburg last year during the off season.  It was in the paper.  They tried to get the Chariot started but they couldn't.  They caused like 100 thousand dollars in damage to the stores.
