6 parks, 5 states, 4 days, 40+ coasters

SFGAdv's Fastlane is free, you can get them right inside the park to your left. I would recommend entering at the main entrance rather than the Season Pass entrance (if you had one). Since Nitro and Medusa are at complete opposite ends of the park I would recommend taking the Sky Way from one to the other. I've been there twice this week and Medusa has had a longer wait than Nitro after 11:30, so definitely grab a Fastlane for Medusa before heading to Nitro and The Chiller. Have a great time on your "vacation".
PKD's system is called Express Lane, and here's how guest relations explained it to me. On Volcano, you have to go to the ride before 1pm. There they have a timed ticket dispenser. Now this is the weird thing. She said that some days they don't use it, and some times it's only on weekends. Seems a little inconsistent to me. Unlike Six Flags, I didn't see any promotion for Express Lane at the entrance, so many people will never find out about it.

What? No Knoebles trip?

No... that's just a little outside of the range to be efficient. Next year we were thinking about crossing PA from Shi... I mean, Pittsburgh all the way to Dorney and back.

...until I moved out to the wasteland known as Ohio.  Nothing to do but watch the grass grow

What?  You live in the country's 15th biggest city, you know.  From what I've heard, NJ is half urban sprawl, half grassy fields.  At least Ohio has 3 major cities to call its own, instead of leeching off a huge city in a nearby state.  (not to be harsh, but I get tired of people dissing this state....people who live here don't know what BFE is.  Try driving through any non-West Coast state west of the Mississippi if you want to see the definition of "boring")

SFGAd's Fast Lane is free.  It's located just to your left if you enter through the regular entrance and on your right if you go in the season pass entrance.  You'll probably find a shorter line for Fast Lane at the season pass entrance.  Just make sure you get there ASAP.  On Sunday, I got there at 10:45 and the first available FL for Nitro was 5 pm.  In the past you could get 4 FL's, but on Sunday it was up to 6.  It's available for Nitro, Medusa, Skull Mountain, Runaway Train, GASM, Chiller, Batman, RT, Congo Rapids, and the Log Flume.  Also, the school kids are still out in NJ.

When I was at PKD last month, their Fast Lane system was only for Volcano.  Hypersonic was set up for it but they weren't using it.

Well said Den. I have lived in the suburbs of Cleveland all my life. This is probably the one of the best locations to ride rollercoasters because I have so many within and hour or two away. SFWoA is only 1/2 away, CP only 1 1/2 hours away, Kennywood only 2 hours away.... see were I am going? Not to mention there is so many other things to do besides going to parks. There is all of Cleveland's heralded Sports Teams, the Flats and warehouse district for clubs, Rock Hall of Fame..... too much to write. Anyways, Ohio is more than a wasteland. It's the perfect location to do just about anything(exept surfing).
Where's Six Flags New England?
I am guessing that it is to far out of the way of your trip (5 hours from Six Flags Great Adventure to Six Flags New England). Well, you are only truly missing one world class ride IMO, Superman: Ride of Steel. But I am sure you will have your mouth full with Apollo, NITRO, Medusa, Talon, ect. Some obvious advice is to hit the major rides first and then ride the others if you are in head of schedule. The most important advice I can give you is to have fun!

Thank you everyone for your help. One last question regarding Fastlane... you can just jump in line still and wait, right?

Yes, if you just want to wait in line the old fashion way than you can,  there is a small wait for the fastlane depends how popular the ride is.

Hey Den, ever hear of sarcasm?  I was playing off the "Jeff's Grass" thread. I like living in Ohio and I don't miss the urban sprawl that unfortunately has destroyed most of what used to be a very beautiful state.  You got the half urban sprawl right but the other half is so much more then "grassy fields"
I have driven through many non-west coast states west of the Mississippi. Even lived in such an area for a while and I don't find them boring either.  In fact, I just came back from a couple days in Iowa (without visiting any amusement parks).
There are no boring places, only boring people.  Sorry to have offended you.

Yes, with Fast Lane you can still get in line and wait.  There's times when I've seen a longer line for Fast Lane than the regular queue.  This past weekend, Rolling Thunder was a stay-on but yet people were still coming up with Fast Lane.  That just makes no sense to me.  With FL, you have no choice of seats so if there's little to no line it's much better to just go in the regular line and choose your seat.

When I was on B:TR at SFGAdv last monday, there was a walk on all day, and the fastlane line was longer than the regular. Samething happened to me on SM at WDW.

Sorry man, but you can't just jump in line and wait anymore. That is so like, passe. You have to buy a fastlane pass to ride even the scrambler;)

Sorry Millrace.  It's just one of my pet peeves that people think if you don't live in NYC or LA you're some sort of backwater hick.... and as you know this city is trying hard to get a "big-city" reputation, so people dissing it just gets under my skin.  No biggie though, sorry to have snapped at ya.
Dorney has no virtual queue system,Dorney will be busy on Friday most schools in the lehigh valley dont start until the 1st week of sept.Dorney has been in over fill the last few weekends.
