5year old boy dies at Lake Compounce
A 5yr old boy dies at the the park and his mother is in critical condition after a tree branch fell on them at the lake while playing miniature golf.

^Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but I don't see how you can tell the boy died and the mother is in critical condition. This had to have been a decent-sized branch to (supposedly) kill a 5 year old and critically injure an adult woman.

This is very unfortunate. Its just seems like ever since Kennywood bought this park I have been hearing bad things. I cant see how a "branch" could seriously injure someone unless it was really big.

I live 10 mins from the park an its all over the news. It just happened at 7:40pm. The news is not yet posted on any of the networks web sites yet.
