5/24-5/28 trip ideas

My family and I were planning a trip to busch gardens/kings dominion/SF great america later this summer. however plans have changed and we have to go next week. So with KD and SF only on weekend opperation, we cant go.

Does anyone have any ideas of a good five day trip? I live in Greenville, SC.

ps- we have already been to SFOG this summer and have a trip to carowinds planned for one weekend. we have also been to the florida parks (universal, wdw, busch gardens) the last to years.

any help is very much appriciated.

Well if you don't plan on making it up north or down south, how about the mid west? It looks like PKI, SFKK, Cedarpoint, Holiday World, and Indiana Beach are all open during the week. Geauga Lake is only open that Friday though. Dollywood is also open during the week, except for that Tuesday, and would probably be on the way up to Kentucky, Ohio, or Indiana. If your looking to do a bunch of parks over a week within driving distance and are excluding the ones you've listed, that area is probably your best bet.

SFGAm will be open daily when you are going, in case you want to change your plans. SFGAm is an awesome park with great rides, it's definately worth a stop. Otherwise I would say the same parks as Pale Rider.

Seeing he was mentioning PKD and BGW, are we sure he wasnt meaning SFA instead of SFGAm?

I assumed he was talking about SFA.

Oh, wasn't paying too much attention. I had a really late night...lol

If I'm not mistaken SFA is open now on fridays as well as weekends starting this week but it sounds as if you'd only be in the area between monday & thursday which does put you out of luck as far as SFA's schedule is concerned.
