5 People you Meet...

In the ABC movie, "The Five People you Meet in Heaven", it starts off with an amusement park. And yes, this amusement park has a rollercoaster. Since you guys figured out the rollercoaster in CSI, can anyone figure out what rollercoaster was in the movie? (And no, I do not know the answer).

Ah, what a great book, too bad Im not watching the movie, but if Im correct, it took place on a NJ Pier. Hmmm... there are quite a few piers...
Didn't see it, sorry I can't be of help. Any info that might help? Location? (Beach? Woods? Carnival?) Type of Coaster? Color of Coaster? Wood or Steel? etc..

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

It was a wood coaster. The setting of the park was at a pier, but I do not remember seeing anything pier related when they showed the coaster. Basically, we are looking for a wood coaster.

Well, the only park in Vancouver, BC Canada is Playland and the only operating wooden coaster there is named "Coaster"...is this the ride that was in the movie?

Hi.....whats your name again?

The ride in the movie was Coaster at Playland. there was one shot in the movie where you could see the station and the turn to the lift that just gave it away.
The movie wasn't filmed at Playland in Vancouver and have Coaster in it, did it? That's what I think, but I need confirmation from at least 4 more people.

+Danny ;)

Danny,

There's a ride called "Coaster" in Vancouver at a park called Playland. It appeared in the ABC movie The Five People You Meet In Heaven.

Is this the ride you're talking about?

No, no, no...you have it all wrong. It was filmed at Playland in Vancouver. That's Coaster you see in the movie ;)
Good movie but the book is so much better. It's a very easy read, took me just a few hours. I suggest it to anyone. I like how the author reflects back to older rides such as Virginia Reels and shoot-the-chute rides.
