5 injured at Six Flags Over Texas?

Read about it here http://www.amusementsafety.org

Does anyone know about this...of course ASO makes it out to be bigger than it probably really is.

Isn't that a picture of Magnum next to the article? Besides this being from ASO could mean that the people got food poisoining from the night before. Hopefully, I am right....or at least it isn't ride related....

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.
What a suprise...ASO blows something out of proportion. I am shocked...amazed...astounded...

That you even begin to think that they'd be impartial.

The ride op saw something on the Texas Tornado swings ride and hit the E-Stop. Minor bumps and bruises and one person claiming back pain.

For you coaster geek wanna-be's

The picture is Steel Force at Dorney Park, which is an exact clone of the Texas Tornado* that ate people alive and spat them out.

*according to the ASO

Here's a real story about the incident: http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/news/local/14089119.htm

It says 7 people had minor injuries.

The silvery piers in the lower right hand corner of the pic in the article look like Steel Force. Allentown, Texas... they're often confused.

Nice to read that ASO's reports are actually making people think twice about going to parks UNTIL they read a summary report from them. (still waiting on that "roll the eyes smiley", Jeff.)
