400 footer in Australia?

Not trying to start a rumor thread, but isn't there a 400 foot coaster planned for Australia? I am directing this towards Jeff, the "mods", and people "in the know." Thanks!

Australia already has one that is 377 feet tall, maybe that is what you are thinking of. It is the second Intamin LSM powered shuttle (with S:TE @ SFMM being the first). It's called Tower of Terror and it's located at Dreamworld in Queensland.

There is also the speculation of a 400 ft. Intamin going into Hyde Park in Germany. It's been discussed before and there is a draft of the layout somewhere.

A 400 footer here? I don't think so. As said above, we've got TOT, which is 390ft of track, 370 odd feet of travelled track. If we want to get technical, TOT was first to open to the public, but I don't want to get into that here. :)

The only coasters we have planned and confirmed is Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster, a new generation wild mouse ride. It is about 55ft tall. It opens in one week on Monday (Sunday for you dudes). Sarah-Michelle Gellar is going to be there - if only I could go the official opening day (I'm off to the press day though).

I'm puzzled as to what this comment means. Jeff is indeed very knowledgable about coasters and whatnot, as are many of the mods I'd imagine. But I'm sure most of them would agree with me that they wouldn't know what was happening in the Australian amusement scene to save their lives.

Hey - if someone knows something that has casually slipped by me and the other Aussie freaks, then I'd like to know.

So what if the best coaster in Australia is a second hand Arrow?
