4 People Pass Out In X-Flight Line

Amen Snoopy. I know at least one woman passed out back in late May in Titan's line while we were there. The queue is extremely bare. Not even a light shade and in TEXAS of all places, even a tarp would work wonders.

What is life without ups and downs!?!?
Intamin Fan -- I agree wholeheartedly. Bottled water is no more than a fashion accessory for most, and parks will provide free water (as someone mentioned) if you just ask for it. And if you're really feeling the heat, you can always (at Cedar Point) go over to the First Aid stations, into their great A/C, and they'll give you something to drink, even let you lie down for a few minutes. Parks would much rather that than have your day ruined by illness.

At SFMM, Goliath's line has Misters:) I love em. And Riddlers line has a canopy over the entire line so that's good. Hopefully X will.

That sucks i think all queues should have some type of sun protection.my sister cought a heat stroke in dorney park back in 99 we where having a bad heat wave and it was like 109degres outside! no lie it was sicking it was so hot i saw a lady get her whole armed skined on herculies becuase she was wearing a sleeveless shirt and i gusse the roughness of the ride and moving around made the skin on the side of her arm go bye bye.
IMHO, i really dont think that canopys help very much. yeah, you're gonna be in the sun and they do provide shade, but i think they only make it hotter. plus, only about half the line is underneath one of them so you go from sorta cool temperatures right back into the blazing sun. parks wont lower water prices because they make too much money off of that. just dont wear dark clothing and be prepared to wait in long lines in 95ยบ heat...its all part of the amusement park experience. :)
I was there yesterday too.:)
Are you sure it happen in the X-Flight line?
We ended up making the mistake of taking the right loading station, when we could've went to the left station.:(
We ended up waiting like 40 minutes, instead of 10.
It's funny everybody thought that the split to the left was for the exit.(LOL)
I was really shocked at how fast the lines moved, and that the ride didn't breakdown once.
SFMM is real good about keeping Queue's coverd and entertaining, one more reason to like the park!

Yeah, I'm positive because when i was using my fastpass, i saw them take a whole bunch of people out of line. Also, it broke down down twice on Monday.
I was there on July 19th and 20th. Heat was oppressive then too. Lines were extremely long. Had Fast Pass still had to wait 45 minutes for the ride. I liked the ride a lot, but no way would I ever wait more than 1 and 1/2 hours for it. To me there are way too many better rides in many other parks that would have a shorter wait. It is a different experience, but not one worth waiting too long for at any time.
