300 patrons hurt in last 3yrs on Indiana Jones

Came across this article in the orange county register. It states that in the last three years there has been over 300 injurys on Indiana Jones ride and over 300 on splash mountain. I hear on other topics Well only healthy people should ride and they should read the signs, come on 300 people is alot of accidents in 3 years on 1 ride there has to be something to this ride causing injurys.

ACTUALLY, I'm not surprised at all. I'd bet 80-90 percent of that was because of guest stupidity. For Example: People who don't read the signs, people who run, people who know the rules just don't follow them, etc. etc.) Any time a guest is injured, weather it is a nosebleed to their foot being choped off it must be documented. In a season and a half as a ride opp I have documented MANY Guest Injuries, all of which were at the fault of the guest...

Indiana Jones isn't that hard of a ride to go on...I'd think Matterhorn would injure many more people. I'm guessing it's mostly the guest's faults, but I wonder how much of that was the park's fault. It's kind of scary, because again, that ride doesn't seem too dangerous.
Actually, that isn't very many at all.

There were more than 13 million people who attended Disneyland Park last year. Even if only 1 million of those people rode Indy, the percentage of people who were injured is only .0001%. And I'm sure that Indy gets more than a million riders per year.

If you take into account the people who banged their knee getting in or pinched their hand in the seatbelt, you've got a pretty low statistic.

If there alot of injuries worthy of hospitalization, I'd be shocked.
