Several of the big industry players will debut tried and true concepts in sister parks around the world in 2013, leaving smaller parks to take the biggest chances on the newest ideas. Let's take a look at some of the biggest attractions planned for 2013 at theme parks close to home, across the United States and around the world.
Read more from The LA Times.
It lists Morey's Piers GCI coaster as being for 2013. Last I heard there was not a confirmed time frame for this. Has something changed?

God, I need to do some traveling this summer. Seriously.

As I mentioned when I saw this come up on FB, disappointed that we're getting 2 new "classic wooden coasters" in the US next year, and the article only mentions one of them. White Lightning is going in to Fun Spot Orlando, a mile or so from USF/IoA, and is going to be a really fun ride.
The new "megapark" in Orlando will likely never come to fruition, but the family-owned Fun Spot parks are growing rapidly, and filling the niche for night-time amusements (as opposed to the big THEMERS operating now at Busch, Disney and Universal).
