Any obsrevations, rumours, or whispers about 2013 additions for Carowinds,Dorney, WOF, Knotts, MA, or CW?
I went to Knott's last week and the top of Perilous Plunge is already halfway gone. Still no firm rumors. Not sure if the rumored giga is a possibility. Just at the spot Plunge was in there isn't a ton of real estate there. You can always build over buildings. They could put a Mavericky type coaster in that spot though and it would automatically be the best ride in the park.
I understand that it's more of a family park and there are space constraints but they really do need another thrill ride and there are spots they could free up by taking out a warehouse and demolishing the dinosaur's buiding.
I'm not drunk, I'm Irish.
Carowinds is promoting 'Going Way Back in time' for 2013, so everyone is assuming Dinos Alive, since the Zoo just up the interstate just ended their run of it. Wish they'd add a couple water slides (Tornado slide, HELLO!), but I doubt it.
Perilous Plunge is being scrapped from what I've heard.
Don't remember specifically who it was, but someone with "insider knowledge" (AJ maybe, or Dutchman?) confirmed that Perilous Plunge is indeed headed to the recyclers.
Pretty sure WOF is connecting Oceans of Fun with WOF.

I didn't know that Charmland had any rides left for sale.
The rope broke, and the tire swing just rolled away....

You mean real scrap dealers, right? As opposed to "the recyclers" wink, wink, which we all know is code for Dorney Park.
I wonder if GL's Wildwater Kingdom will ever get an addition to the small water park.
