2006 Roller Coaster Calendars

Hello!

Has anyone seen any sales information for the 2006 coaster calendars? I have been working long hours lately and could have easily missed it. It is usually about this time of year that someone post the order information on Coaster Buzz. Any help would be appreciated. They make great gifts.

To being an "us" for once - instead of a "them".

If you're talking about the S&D Greetings Calendars, those weren't produced for 2006, but I *believe* they may start up again to have one ready for 2007. Moosh?

Yeah, I was hoping there would be an S&D calendar. I loved my 2005 one.
Thanks for the information. I loved my 2005 calendar too.

I found a really nice 2006 coaster calendar the other day at the mall in one of those all-calendar stores.
I don't believe there is an S&D anymore, but there is Chaindog Media. Moosh had mentioned that there would be no calendar this year. Maybe if we all hound him enough we could talk him into it though. :)

Not gonna happen, Sparky! ;)

We've had an overwhelming demand from former S&D customers for a calendar so Dave and I are seriously considering offering one next year, for 2007, via Chain Dog Media. As soon as we make a decision we'll make an announcement.

This is why I miss working in a print shop. I made my own calendars for years. :-P Now I have to actually pay for one. lol.

You still can, Tina. Go to CafePress.com
Just upload your own pics.

Of course, if you want a really good one, you'll have to wait for Matthew and Dave to put theirs out again. ;) *** Edited 12/4/2005 9:34:31 PM UTC by Acoustic Viscosity***

Wow, thanks for the compliment Matt. ;)

Keep your fingers crossed...with our busy schedules right now all we're hoping to have time to do is another coaster event somewhere. After the new year Dave and I will discuss a calendar and what goes into producing one. It takes a lot more time to contact the parks and get their approvals on the page layouts than it does to do the actual design but the real time-consuming chore is packaging them up and sending them out.

Parks have to approve the page layouts?

It's not just... "Can we use a photo of ___ coaster in a calendar?"

It takes a lot more time to contact the parks and get their approvals on the page layouts ...

And that's the exact reason I'd endorse buying a calendar from these guys. They work with the parks to make this stuff happen rather than making a quick buck at the parks' expense with no regard or respect for them.

So there is no "Geeks of Coasterbuzz" calendar for 2006?

^LOL. That would be fun.

Well considering there are about 12 girls on this site I can see a "Women of Coasterbuzz" calendar selling like crazy. ;-)

Jimvy said he has experience in "packing"...and he certainly has too much free time....;)

Then again, shipping from Scotland would likely be prohibitive...and NO ONE wants the free haggis samples... :)

I made calenders for relatives on Ofoto. Pretty easy to do. But could never come close to those lovely S&Ds. Heck, I kept my 2004 up all last year.
