The video seems to be the same one found on www.rideentertainment.com - except that the S&S logo doesn't swoop in.

How about the "Swing Ride with the sucky S&S lapbars". I rode Eruption at Great Adventure two years ago and absolutely hated the lapbars. They are extremely uncomfortable.

Kennywood will now be the park with the most attractions that have side loading lap bars.

Not that I won't enter *a* name (that means one entry, LOL), but I predict it'll end up being something...predictable...;)

Everyone was disappointed with Waldameer's "name the coaster" contest for their spinny mouse too.

But to me, if you're paying your way to the park, they shouldn't care where you're from. If I win with my so far over 10 guesses, I have a few friends from the midwest and even Cali that I'll invite, as long as they can get themselves here.

Moosh, I actually submitted 'Screamin Swinger' just because of Screaming Swing.

Brett, have you ridden one yet(just curious)? Although a short cycle, the one at KBF was really fun, and it looks like an actual flat ride, not some Flugly S&S ride, which was my first thought when I saw it for the first time, As long as the larger version looks mostly the same, it should, to me, actually fit in with Lost Kennywood.

Exactly, Moosh.....as IF Stan hadn't already DONE the work to make sure the ride name was descriptive, bland, and suitable for ALL occasions...it's like Mexican food without the cilantro! ;)

IF you're going to have a contest, make sure you're trying to "fit a theme" or something....otherwise, the manufacturer name for the ride is probably MORE than acceptable...

Zoomerang, Spinning Mouse, Gigacoaster....whatever. Either be *creative*, or stick with the name the ride already HAS...:)

It is funny they restrict eligibility to PA, OH, MD, and WV. Even funnier they don't cutoff any part of Pennsylvania east of Route 219. God forbid someone from the eastern part of the state might win! (Puck Fitt!) We'd probably stand a better chance of being named the next Pope.

No, I haven't ridden one yet, the one at KBF was built after I was there, either that or I completely missed it. Just the concept of a large ride in that area of the park disturbs me, but hey, we'll see once it's built.
