I hesitated starting this topic because so much is still rumor. But decided to because so many topics right now feel so negative and doom and gloomy. This one's a bit more positive.
But Six Flags stock and weak economy issues aside, 2003 is feeling BIG to me. I'm thinking back to the excitement of the year 2000 and the explosion of that year and thinking, wow, here we possibly go again.
The possibilities of 400ft coasters, B&M flyers, Intamin woodies and record breaking drop rides have been overshadowed by the demise of CCI, lawsuits, troubled prototypes and bankruptcy.
Folks, I think it's time to start getting excited...
Any thoughts? :)

Thank You for challenging TOS: The Ride. We hope you enjoy the rest of your day, here at SFCB.
I certainly can see some record breakers for 2003. If rummors are correct, Six Flags Magic Mountain will get the worlds tallest wooden, Cedar Point will get the worlds tallest/fastest coaster (you know them ;) ), Six Flags Worlds of Adventure will get a hyper, and it goes on.
Of course, I don't really believe Screamscape all that much.....

See here's the thing, I'm not confirming or specifying anything. The reason I started the thread was not to post a bunch of rumors. Rather, to start a discussion about possibilities, much as what is going on over at GTTP.
Too much negativity out there, let's have some fun for a change. And what do you know? About two seconds later comes the news of a new wooden coaster company!

I really wish IOA was getting their new coaster much sooner than 2005. Even if they started construction this winter and went into the next year it would be so exciting to actually see some work going on there since most of their major attractions were built in the park before it opened.

Well I think that the Tri-States will be the place to be next year. With a GCI going to Celebration City (a new park) and the new park being built in Council Bluffs, that's two new parks to go to. Also if rumors pan out SFGAm, SFStL and WOF could have some major new rides.

SFMM isnt getting anything for 2003. why the h3ll would they get another coaster. they have 2 that dont work. yu have to fix what you got before you get somethin new. six flags is dumber then we think if they put anything in SFMM. they should just open x as a new coaster for 2003.-------------

That's what I thought they should have done with Deja Vu at SFGAm this year.
