2003-04 Park and Coaster Sitings in Movies

I found a few notable movies from 2003 and so far in 2004 that some of you may be interested in if you keep track of coaster or park sitings in movies.

*A Mighty Wind (2003)- Entertaining mockumentary from Christopher Guest (Best in Show) about folk singers reuniting featuring Deja Vu at Six Flags Magic Mountain and if you look closely, you can see the top of the lift of Psyclone off to the right during that scene. There's also a cool model town and park in the first scene with Mickey and Mitch together again.

*Monster (2003)- Intense, gritty, and emotional true story starring Oscar-nominated Charlize Theron (The Italian Job) as Aileen Wuornos, a highway prostitute who killed several men in Florida in the 80s. Monster is the name of a ferris wheel that made "Lee" puke when she was younger before it made it the whole way around. She visits Fun Spot in Florida with Christina Ricci's character where they ride the ferris wheel and one rides the octopus/monster and go-carts.

*Stuck on You (2003)- Romantic comedy with Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear as conjoined twins in a lighthearted comedy by the Farrelly Brothers (There's Something About Mary). A date scene is set on the beach near Pacific Park and the Santa Monica West Coaster.

*Uptown Girls (2003)- A girly comedy about growing up and letting go with Brittany Murphey and Dakota Fanning has scenes at Coney Island New York (one at opening, one at the park while it's closed by Nathan's and the Giant Wheel, and one on the spinning tea cups).

Quick Spots-
*Santa Monica West Coaster and Pacific Park in the end credits of Bringing Down the House (2003), the wacky hit comedy starring Steve Martin and Queen Latifah.

*Six Flags Marine World was the setting of the marine park where Adam Sandler's character works at in 50 First Dates (2004) also starring Drew Barrymore as a woman with short-term memory loss.
