X, KBF's new ride (CoasterCon)...SFoG's B&M, whatever Intamin thing *may* be going on at USF (might be '03).  First rides on Phantom's Revenge - may it kick my butt the way I hoped Steel Force would...but NOT the way the original Phantom did!  May I also have one more trip, maybe to the upper midwest (SFGAM, BCK&K, MA - never been to any of these)...

Whatever is going in at Wild Adventures...I've got some *hints* for anyone interested in this petting zoo gone coaster crazy...

How much more floorless can they get?

First and foremost, Wicked Twister at CP. Sure, it may not be as groundbreaking as many would've liked it to be, but I don't really care. It's big (215 ft), fast (72mph), and at my favorite place on earth: Cedar Point. (I might as well add that I'm a somewhat big fan of Impulses as it is-I only expect this to fuel my fire)

Over here in my home state, I'm quite looking forward to X (c'mon, there's only 3 weeks left in the year, our chances are looking kind of grim). Also, I know that it isn't a coaster, but the new Afterburner at PGA has given me new reason to visit them next year (Oh, I love flat rides, too...)

I hate the off-season.

I'm looking foward to X and KBF's ride. I can't give the name out however it will begin with an "X" (mark my word).

Also, Wicked Twister isn't that big to me. I will enjoy seeing how it is however it's nothing special. It gets to much hype on this website because a fair amount of people are biast. CP is doing the same thing that MM did with the standard Vekoma Boomerang. They are just taking something that already exists and making it a little better. It probably only took 3 minutes to think up of the idea and it probably only took that long for MM and Vekoma to also however, CP gets all the hype. When MM announced Deja Vu everyone called it stupid and said it was a cheap way to get the record back. I'm just laughing now that CP has done the same thing. Now all the people here who whinned about Deja Vu are praising Wicked Twister like it's some totally new ride. The track may be but the concept, hardly.

So my lesson to everyone here is to think before you say that something is stupid becuase it just has 90 degree towers or because it has 1 extra back twist (MM fans) and realize that anything along these lines can happen to your park. In this every growing world of companies who are building clones or near clones it's getting more likely by the day.

MM fans got the last laugh on this one however, because we got our NEAR clone first so we put up with all that, "It's just a boomerang." stuff for a while and now the NEAR clone rides have come back around and bit CP is the a** like CP fans never thought.

One last thing: If MM was to get Wicked Twister and not CP, you all shoud know in your minds that you would be complaining and saying that it's not a coasters and just a cheap near clone. Remember that before you talk. Also, I told you it was an Impulse a few months ago! And what happened?
