Is there a way to skip a question? For example, on some of the questions I had not ridden any of the roller coasters, but I had to answer anyway.

God I hope Phantoms Revenge wins, too bad it never will over X-flight...Although I havent ridden X-Flight, I dont see what all the fuss is all about. I admire it, because its an Arrow, and I love Arrow, but its just a flying coaster that spins you. Nothing more.

*yawn* The nominees are almost the same as last year.

I suspect that many of them will be the same year after year. The excitement to me is in the new categories, and the potential for those to try and crack the overall categories the next year. The big surprise to me is that Son of Beast, last year's new wood winner, didn't even get a nomination in the best wood category this year.

I'm pretty upset that The Legend wasn't nominated for Best Wood. I thought it kicked The Raven to the curb, and it's supposedly number 1.

Why wasn't Coasterbuzz.com nominated? Its the coaster site I visit most. I still voted anyway, but I would rather be able to write in my favorites. ;)

It would be pretty silly to nominate ourselves, don't you think?

Unless that many new people had a chance to go to Lake Compounce this year, I think its pretty weird to see that more people had votes for that as well. I believe it was a pretty close second though, last year. I can see why a lot of people might choose The Beast and/or The Raven over SOB and/or Legend in the area. Not really a huge surprise I would think.

I was also surprised CP wasn't nominated for Best Theme... ;) and it has nothing to do with their theming or lack thereof.

I'm also fairly disappointed that Rugrat's Runaway Reptar wasn't nominated for Best New Steel. I'm sure it was close though. :)
