2002 Announcements

When is the average time for a park to release it's plans for the next year?  What parks have already done this and any EDUCATED guesses as to what some parks may be getting in 2002

I am not complaining but I really hope Carowinds gets another coaster along with Ricochet. PCW and PC are both deprived of really great coasters, other than Top Gun at PC.  Carowinds has a good number of coasters but not an extreme quality of coasters.  PC needs a hyper and PCW needs a signature, defining ride. I mean how long has it been since PCW got a cutting edge ride?

Premier Rides are re designing Ultra Twister at SFAW and giving the Batman side to the Chiller lap bars at SFGAd.

I'm thinking something very good for PGA and SFWOA but I expect some really big things and i mean REALLY big from CP.

PCW Just Announced well not really but they have a new ride called Psyclone... A New kind of Huss Fribee ride where you face outside instead... and they got something else.. but no coaster .

At SFWoA there are markers going from Raging Wolf Bobs all the way to the new flats in the Life side!  A very big area!

I'm hoping for a fourth dimension at sfdl...or a b+m floorless.  I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Knotts will make an announcement, but not too soon. I have heard for sure that it will be before the end of the year.
As for what they are getting, I am not even going there, because no one knows except those buying the ride and those designing it.

PCW's Psyclone isn't a Huss Super-Frisbee....it's a Mondial version.  PCW will have 2 Mondial flat rides in 2002 (Cliffhanger, Shockwave, Psyclone).  The Mondial version will be MUCH taller and have a larger seating base.  Also, it will flip instead of just swing.
