2001 Cedar Point survey results released on Virtual Midway

Posted | Contributed by Gemini

Millennium Force was certainly the #1 choice of an overwhelming number of survey participants. There were also some surprises and close results. Check out winners in numerous categories, include favorite dining location, favorite place to relax, and favorite defunct attraction.

Glad to see that other people miss the pirate ride other than me...:)

I'm with you joey.  Before I was big enough to ride the coasters, the Pirate Ride was always one of the main highlights of any CP trip.  While progress is good, it's kind of sad to think about all the rides that I rode as a kid with my family that are now gone.

I thought it was interesting to see the Pirate Ride the mosted missed ride! That was my favorite ride (when the coaster were to big for me) and to replace it with a POS arcade! :(
I used to love it so much when I was little. I was obsessed with pirates then as I am with coasters now. I still have all 7 Lego Pirate ships and tons of old pirate halloween costumes lol. :) ah...memories.

You know that if Cedar Point wanted to, they could reinstall the original Pirate Ride.  They still have all of the parts and the boats.  I wish that would do that.  It was corny but fun.  Does anybody remember the Earthquake Ride?  Now that was fun!  It was replace by the Berenstein Bears then the Snoopy Store.
I have to admit, that's a mighty fine website.

I agree, the graphics and pictures are very unique and cool.
I miss the Pirate Ride and Earthquake a lot.  They were fun rides which took you out of the heat and sun, although I don't recall them being air conditioned.

I would love to see the Pirate Ride back.

Does the Snoopy Store make CP that much money anyways?  I wouldnt think so, but I have been wrong before.
