20 years from now

What coasters does anyone think will be SBNO, Defunct or Removed this time in 2021?  I say most of the Vekoma slc clones and maybe some others.

At SFGAm, I think that Iron Wolf and Shockwave will be history. I would never want to see IW go, but I'm sure it will within 20 years. Another ride there which may be gone might be both new rides this year. We have yet to see how long GIBs and Impulses stay popular enough to be profitable (or if SFGAm can ever get thier GIB open.) Possibly AE will be gone too, but I hope they would replace it with a C or GCI (or the current popular, intense woodie manufacuture)

Something I would love to see is Pegasus at Big Chiefs being that park's only defunct coaster, but to be replaced by a GCI woodie, and also have 3 or 4 more CCIs at the park, and flat rides.

Hey, SFGAm management, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?

I also think that Shockwave at SFGAm will be gone, because it was extremely painful, except it still had a 20 min. wait. Also, I think the Double Loop at SFWoA. It's getting older and SF will probably build a 4-D on it or something.
SFWoA: Double Loop, Raging Wolf Bobs, Mind Eraser, and X-Flight will be to expensive to maintain and will be more trouble than it's worth.
Cedar Point: Disaster Transport, Corkscrew, Iron Dragon. Mean Streak will probably be removed because of the amount of space it takes up, and maybe Gemini for the same reason.
I think if Waldameer doesn't get it's new CCI than the whole park will be gone.  Maybe Conneaut will be gone but I hope not. Who knows. In 20 years, Six Flags (the whole company) might have problems and be split off. (note, I am not trying to start a flame war, but giving my opinion)

I pray that I will never see a Six Flags Conneaut Lake

SFSTL: Probably the Ninja. Maybe even Mr. Freeze, unless they put lapbars on it, then that might make it wildly popular again. It just doesn't seem to have the line that the Boss and Batman has. But maybe it has a higher capacity or something. I don't really want Ninja or Mr. Freeze to go, because I love 'em both. Well, I don't think I would be too extremely upset if they got rid of Ninja. But Mr. Freeze is one of my fav coasters! I don't want it to leave! But the little "island" that it's on would probably be a good spot for a larger coaster. Hey couldn't they put some other sort of ride on the island with Mr. Freeze? Just wonderin

At Cecar Point I think definitely 20 years from now Mean Streak will be removed. But then again unless your Marty McFly and Doc, who knows what the future will bring!

"I have no legs. I HAVE NO LEGS!! YEAH!!"

I am definitley seeing the removal of The Ninja at SFOG along with Python and Scorpion at BGT.  Heck, even Kumba might go, it's already starting to show it's age.  I hope that this one isn't closed because it's a speculation one, but it shouldn't be, it's really fun to hear what people have to say about stuff like this.  Maybe even the early B: TR will be taken out.  Let me put it this way.  How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?  The world may never know.  I don't know how that relates to this topic, but that commercial was just on and I decided to type it.  Later.

hopes you enjoyed the Dahlonega Mine Train.
Just Because a coaster is rough or isn't as popular as it once was doesn't mean that in the next 20 years it will be removed. I would be shocked if more than 5 or 10 coasters get removered from any parks in the next 20 years.

Check out my all new coaster site!!
